The trail is gorgeous as I gaze ahead
So perfectly faithful that I dare not tread.
Pillowed Daisies tempt me to rest my head
On the dreamy petals of their scented bed.

Is it romance, or passion that I hear?
Those sweet voices singing into my ear
Alluring me to that long pathway I fear!
They are quite beautiful, joyful and dear.

Shall I go, innocently lured by their charms?
Should I prance like a doe into mystery’s arms?
Oh, how their pure smile, comforts and warms
But logic stops me like a thousand alarms.
