Upon the earth, I tread alone
on unmarked flowery graves unknown
the wind may sing, the wind may moan
like solitude within the stone.

Many a fancy line I have penned
But words are lonely in the end
Thoughts may dance and dreams pretend,
They have always been my closest friend.

I take a breath within my mind
And leave my quiet world behind
Afraid but brave, Observant but blind
Innocence touching mystery, undefined.
