As I sit in the glare of the pale moon light,
The sun comes to rise and your soul comes to life,
There's no ground we stand common,
There's no earth which we meet,
Our bonds will hold strong,
I will not admit defeat,

The world may seperate us, but it won't keep us apart,
My only real dread is the time when you depart,
Because I know, yes, I know,
That these feelings hold true,
And I know, yes, I know,
I would of drowned without you,

We started out with nothing,
Lost in a raging sea,
I reached out to you,
And you grabbed a hold of me,
Hold fast to this emotion,
Hold fast, don't let it slip,
Because you were the one who saved me from the pale rider's grip
