Out Of Sight
Out of sight
Are the unfairly treated
The ones excluded
That feel defeated
They have little freedom
In a country that's free
Though dark-skinned, they're human
Like you and me
But even clever
Nice and kind
They are shunned
Out of sight, out of mind
This is a poem I wrote for school about the civil rights movement
