Living In Memory
Fear not child.
You'll never be alone.
A mother and daughter are more
Than just cleverly arranged letters.
You're a fraction of her blood,
A shadow of the same.
And like all whispering shadows
They bear flesh.
You need but to absorb the light
For similarities to uphold.
With such illumination comes solace,
Yet only a mirror will provide insurance.
Lift head and straighten eyes,
Mother is watching from the other side.
