Oh,  the mystery  of you
is greater than my mind can reach
like  a song in God's heart
an ancient  hypnotic   pagan  chant
or stories  of a world before  time.
Oh,  from  what bright shining star
in the eternal  sky
came   your beauty  and your  mystery?
Oh, and how  those lovely  eyes
shine  forth the light of a love
unequaled  from the time of creation
when dreams become reality
and the heart of the universe  began to beat.
Oh, how can I measure a soul
deeper  than the sea
and higher than the  stars?
Oh,  you have become
my burning  unquenchable desire.
My soul  calls  out
in  its longing
a heart felt sound  so deep
the very  depths  of hell  are shaken
and  the angels hear  your  name!
Oh,  in my love for you
all  my words are lost
for I cannot recount all  your beauty
or utter the depths  of my love
and I am struck dumb
with the possibility of such a task.
Oh,  a harp   plays  its song
music from a poor lonely heart
in its quest
for  the mercy  of an angels love
from  the  bottom of all that I am.
The memory of you shall last
till  all  else fades away
and not a star  shines
but only an eternal  blackness  is left.
For my love for you shall last
beyond the limit  of forever's   eternity.
