With a high expectation,
I look for her face in the crowd,
With a high expectation,
I search for her face in my memories,
With a high expectation,
I listen for her voice from a distance,
With a high expectation,
I search for her voice in my mind,
But no matter the expectation,
And no matter the effort,
I can neither see her face,
Nor hear her voice,
In the deepest of pain I have to believe,
Never will I ever see her,
In the deepest of pain I have to believe,
Never will I ever hear her voice,
For gone she is forever.
