We’re stuck in a world, not quite our own
We don’t really know where to find our home
What we think
Is not what we see
What we know
Is not what we be

Our true identity
Is so much of a rarity
Our knowledge of things
Don’t have no clarity

We seem to see, the world from behind
A different colored glass, every day
And often we have to be, now remind,
That the world is really a different shade

We can never ever seem, to ever decide
How to see the world in a proper way
For we never know, how to be beside
The side of the world outside the cage
We have locked ourselves in, so say

We want to know, how to break out
And with what to break it with
We need your help,
Oh, people on the other side,
To help us out from within

The world’s gotta have a
Shred of Empathy
At least Sympathy
Of the most minute weight

Please help us out,
Please end our plight,
Maybe a word and a smile
Would do
To make us trust
That it’s really you
Not some kind of weird voodoo

We need an explanation
A way out of starvation
Of understanding, that we don’t know
18.01.2018
We are stuck in a world that is completely unrelated to the environment around us.
