Jun 2018
I can see the sun slowly going down,
my curtains show green and brown
it the dimming light.

Makes me ponder upon
daydreams of the marrow.
I will miss this day until the next
settles in my mind, making way
for tomorrow.

The shadows lengthen,
as a cool breeze rushes through
reminding me to close the door.

Goodnight says the sun,
good evening says the moon and stars,
as my eyes get heavy with sleep;
they wave at me.
