May 2018
this toxic paradox is
me
running with the wild crowd, just leave me
be
brutally binding myself and wishing to be
free
i am burning, burning can't you
see?
struggling to live but dying in order to
flee
bury me like roots, i'll sprout into a
tree
cut me down and sacrifice me to the
sea
listen to my words, acknowledge my
plea
entomb me, avalanche, cover me in
scree
help me, save me, have you the
key?
father, spirit, son, the holy
three
forgive me my inevitable killing
spree
this toxic paradox is
me
