May 2018
Yet our hopes stay the same
Always tryna convince ourselves,
That this time will be different.

Until the same thing happens,
Again and Again.
Repeatedly, we fall.

Yet we dust ourselves up,
And try to move on.
But the dirt clings to us.
Making it harder to get up again.

Everytime we are hurt,
We build up resentment.
Either we blame ourselves or others.

But all in all, people change.
