On stone currents an Angel left freeze
is a wooden vessel her guilt plies,
companion in trials is a Siamese,
toll reflecting in crossed eyes.

Floundered on rocks, vessel becalmed
wings behind wrapping up stage,
angled sprays leapt lives farmed,
men jostling into dark gauge.

Cumulus grey to brown surging green
turgid seas obscure dying calls,
wings of black shrouding scene,
bone breaking as rock mauls.
