REGRET

Ugly gets this life when dipped in sin.
Fear nests in the heart and spreads within.
Pain and worries are shown on the face;
All the soap of earth cannot displace.

Anxious gets the heart and much depressed.
Nervous get the words that are expressed.
Calmness disappears from disturbed world.
Those around can't hear from us a word.

Profit, where are you that we could gain?
Did it merit all this killing pain?
Moments of some pleasure we have got
Causes dirt and pain that inside rot.

No oblivion can release our nerves.
False pleasure gets what it deserves.
None can clean our hearts save long regret.
Word of honour, is sin worth this fret?
