Look Away

When people look at me.

I realize they might scream.

People don’t like me.

Because I’m not like them.

Just because I’m different.

Just because I’m not a wannabe.

I’m just a gonnabe.

I have a future

And they don’t.

But why do they laugh at me so.

I know I'm not gorgeous.

Or popular or skinny either.

I don’t have those classic features.

Just don’t laugh at me.
