I am mad
I am mad at him
I am mad at me
For thinking that there could ever be an "us"
It was always about him,
He made me think it was about us
But it was always about him, and no one else.
I knew that the moment he asked me to kiss him.
I said no,
He kept pushing it,
I said no,
He kept pushing it,
And I refused to put up with it.
He said he was sorry but he didn't mean it.
He called me a player,
He said that I played him,
I never played you,
You played me.
You made me love you,
You brought up the past,
That was unfair of you.
Someone once said,
"Once it's happend keep on walkin and don't look back."
I follow this and I think it's true.
So you can go break some other girls heart,
I will forgive you,
Because I am better than you.
