Walking in

the glow of the Sun

I thought I saw your shadow

But that got washed away long ago

Now

With a bath of dying light over my
         pores
                    and

   every inch of my
skin
reaching out to touch
it

My body hopes
it will feel the same as
        you

But
a setting Sun
cannot burn the skin.
