A better season has come
the weather is much better now
flowers will start to sprout
sunshine will bless the skies
whilst the rain a blessing to the crops
the children will be out to play
as the sands of the field feel alive
waves of laughter on every corner
streets filled with countless people
with smiling faces like no other
ice cream stands will flourish the streets
barbecue stands will be full of teens
a season where love will not be hidden in coats
from holding hands to kissing couples
chasing one another into the woods.
