You will believe what I tell you, Simply
I cannot see a way out of this unscathed
So please tell me
Are you ready for it?

I guard my heart with iron covered sarcasms
And the make believe
A **** won't help these matters
But what do I care?
I am here now, only for the ride

I have died for years and years
I've had my fill
It's the empty house out West that I want now
Where the expectations are only half realized
And maybe met

while I say:
This is my home now
In the spaces between right and wrong
Here and gone
