Poems
Mar 2010
susurrus
Sitting, scribing
One eye out my window
One eye on the screen
Sounds, unseen
I can hear a quiet world
Disrupted.
I hear a murmur
restless,
Susurrus
A stream of
Shrieks and whispers
Itβs night out there,
False light in here
My open window
A beacon bright
Against the pitch black
Sky.
Together,
The night and I,
We cry and laugh
Away our fears
Like wild wolves
Baying at the
warm heart
of the moon.
