Do you remember seeing the caramel sky, retire under the horizon? With sandy clothes and a shoe pillow,  we lied and watched the tide in?

Didn't think so.  It wasn't a very memorable time.
No lights nor music, and no confessions, just you were there and I.

Is that a star, or is that a plane? we debated until we bore.
Weightless, meaningless words, exchanged upon the shore
  But I remember everything.

Under the eternal night sky, and beside the vastness of the ocean, its easy to feel small and morose.

But i swear that forgettable time with you I was high above the cosmos.
