Holding onto the only
Body to clutch.
One boy lonely—
One girl craving touch.

Two lovers not loving
The love spoke of in rhyme
Each one verbally shoving,
"I'm just passing the time"

Two bodies lie
In a lover's embrace.
Two mouths lie
With words that erase

The future.
Lonely boy, lonely boy.
