I exist for your existence.
I alone, am your escape.
But I can't change you and I won't,
and you can't tell me that you don't
know what it feels like to be dead.

An apparition of what was,
and how you used to be
But will you ever know? Will I?
I can't wait around to see.

I feel you letting go-
slowly drifting out of time.
Surrendering such brilliance,
and putting love aside.
