Light broke from the horizon, the train left the station,
I was at the platform.

Windows flashed dark figures, the train vanished,
I was at the platform.

A train stopped, the doors opened, people walked towards me, all the strange faces.
I was at the platform.

I wanted to step on a train, any train, to see where it would take me.
But feet glued to the ground.

Screen was counting down minutes from the next train, and the next.
Feet glued to the ground.

I couldn't cross to the other side, to take the opposite direction, to that someone who was waiting at the last station.
Feet glued to the ground.
