Missing You (Sonnet)

I miss you every day

Your smile, your laugh, your voice.

So much I want to say

If I just had a choice.

You walk beside me now,

An angel in my breadth

I only wonder how

The memories can be kept -

I wasted so much time,

When every minute counts

Forgive me for my crime

I pray as I lay down

To see you once again,

If only through my pen.
