CHRIST'S SYMBOL IS THE CROSS.

This is the sense that l get from
My life and that of everyone.
Sadness fills Mine and yours can cram,
From the great to the weakest man.

You whipped and hung Me on the cross;
I was none in your haughty eyes.
I pity you as you will pass
Same death ere you get in My skies.

I came from up to show the type
Each one who lives on earth will see.
You laugh and cheer but have no hope
As your end won't be that of glee.

I give a symbol to My creed
That shows My love mixed with great pain.
This symbol is the painful rood
That l climbed just to bring you gain.
