I can’t keep from thinking of you
On your way to the game
You had absolutely no clue
That life would never be the same

As you laid there in the snowy plain
I cannot imagine your unbelievable pain
So young when you took your last breath
It is so unfair that you had to learn about death

All across this land, hearts are heavy and the hockey family is sad
As we mourn for your team, your town and pray for your mom and dad
The Broncos will rise again as others will carry the torch
My thoughts are with you, as I stand my hockey stick on my front porch
