Dreamer
Thank you, friends
but this
is where I take my leave
You turned this from a nightmare
to a pleasant experience
Provided me enough love
to keep me going
Taught me more about life
Than my mother’s sharp words ever will
Helped me learn that
even though my father may never come back
I still can
Unfortunately
I must wake up now
from this darling dream
I’m not ready
but time waits for no one
I’ll miss you
