I was a soft hearted chap in early twenties then
With dreamy eyes and a notebook and pen
In hand, it was then I saw you for the first time,
a true definition of attractions to sublime.

I loved you like anybody has ever loved or cared
You were unlike anything I ever got, might loose I feared
They mocked me for being ‘possessive’ about you,
But how much I trusted and loved you knew only a few.

My love story was like those stories who don’t have a happy ending
They have unaltered solitude and a lot of words which are pending.
But hear me this ! I still love you, the way I used to love you then
It was my sweetest dream ever but I woke up when
I realized it was only a dream...just a beautiful dream.
