It is sweet clover blossoms,
That bring delight to the nose,
Their blooms are inexpensive,
For bouquets these blooms kids chose.

Even in the coldest months,
Their blossoms when in perfume,
Have a sweet, lovely fragrance,            
Like sweet clover when in bloom.

When the lawns are full of it,
In the summer bees swarm there,
To get their share of nectar,
That sweet clover blooms do bear.
