God's guidance we should ask for,
Not just when troubles arise.              
God wants us truly happy,
This we ought to realize.

God doesn't want us to have,
The things that cause us to sin.
We are called to live holy,
In his grace He wants us in.

If in life we're to succeed ,
In a spiritual way,
God's ways we need as our guide,
And strength we get when we pray.

The Ten Commandments are the signs,
That we find on heaven's road,
Help we need to reach heaven,
Us, God's Commandments will goad.

Give us guidance, Lord, we need,
To find peace while we're on earth.
Our love for you and others,
Help us never have a dearth.
