When things in life don't go right,
Better we'd like life to be.
For the good things that we have,
Let us thank God joyously.

God wants for us to show him,
Our love and our gratitude.
He is loving and patient,
Even when we've a bad mood.

We are the work of his hands,
Dearly God does love us so.
In lives that are ones holy,
He wants each of us to grow.

He calls us all to love him,
And also our neighbors too.
