I watched her beautiful hazel eyes fill with tears, as my question penetrated the deepest places in her heart.

"Did you truly love him?" I asked.

After a few moments I watched as her eyes turn a forest green, and I watched as tears of sorrow fell down her rosy cheeks.

She softly replied, "yes, with all my heart."
She hid her beautiful face as the tears turned into sobs.

I gently took her hand and placed it in mine.

"Then you have nothing to cry about. He lost someone who loved him more than he deserved. And you? You lost someone who took your love for granted, used and abused your love to his own evil advantage. You're not the one who should be crying. He is. And I promise you, the universe will make him see that at a time when he needs true love the most, he will think of you when there is no one there to love him as long and as hard as you did."
