This world seems ever-shifting,
Filled to the brim with sailors who know the waters,
Yet I'm stuck in the tides that carry me to nowhere.

I am tired of being clueless in the sight of whirlwinds,
I am sick of not understanding the depths of the ship that I'm steering,
This ship that seems ever-shifting, too.

There is so much unneeded mystery in the murky depths I try to wade,
So many questions unanswered about the waves that keep crashing,
Am I the only one left reeling?

You are raised in the waters that try to drown you,
And I'm gasping, lurching around to find some air,
But I never really learned how to swim.
