A black rose
With its petals, and its thorns
planted, in the garden
of my soul
Growing slowly
With the water, of my tears
Now it lies, withered out
Awaiting hopeless
For more sorrow
To overshadow my heart
Its roots dry
It petals blown away
By the spring, of your love
Bright yellow and pink
New petals, have blossomed
Tulips everywhere
Stand straight up
Looking at the sun
Layers of romance
Fed with joy, wine of life
Flowing across corners
Of my thoughts
Of my soul Of my heart
