There is a velvet  petal

An eagle-eyed strawberry

Arms bejewelled with anklets that crinkle

Embellished and embalmed

her walk a swirling  dervish dance

Carrying the sweat of lurking eyes

Luscious, juicy, resolute, with a gaze as hard as snow.

Glaring and  transmuting the world

Singing a song for bygone days
