Lowered lashes
daring you to want more
a drop of feeling
falls down from the sky
splattering stars across his nose

lines of body
molding to one
as the sun awakes

that flash of a smile
makes your heart beat faster
as the fire ignites
and your fingers spark

with lightning in your veins
the feeling lingers
that soft sensation
a butterfly's kiss

the sun sinks
and the moon's silver light shows truth
highlighting the darker details
you remember the future
and love the past

what is more
when all is what you have?
