Your eyes made me feel something.
I looked into them,
and I saw more than you led on with.
I saw hurt,
passion,
history.
I wanted you to look into my eyes,
and see mine.
But you didn't see,
you were only interested
in touching what's on the outside
of me.
I met you,
and wanted to dive right in.
You met me,
and saw a brand new sin.

So I left,
I couldn't stick around.
But now,
you're everywhere...
you've become the whole town.
I pretend not to care,
act like I don't hear what you say.
The truth is,
you stole my heart,
and you've blown me away.
A poem about a guy who gave me feelings I never wanted, and pushed me until I crashed and ran away.
