Your loss to me my dear
Has much worth
As a pound of salt

It could've been more valuable
Had we lived centuries ago
It could've burdened me
Had we added the weight
  Of time spent together
And it could've hurt me
Had I allowed you within my abyss.

But as it stands
You are just a pound of salt
In an ocean vast and wide.
Another bleh in a wonderful world.
