Speeding through red blurs,
drowning in the smell of espresso,
the new car smell that’s 3 years old,
getting soaked by the lack of rain,
drenched by the sun.
Held down by the speed,
so slow, oh no,
a phrase unspoken,
a life that’s broken,
I just want to learn more.

I want to go faster,
I want to go slow,
I want to learn more,
about you,
more than anyone knows.
