slipping away

by sierra-scanlan

like the thin air, you slipped between my fingertips i tried to hold on to you, us, and what we shared together i wanted it to stay in tact but there was no use it was all slipping away, i could feel the distance between me and you i had to let go of what i wanted you to be i was living in a dream and it was time to face reality.
