My heart breaks for this world
All the stabs and all the lies make me want to curl
To curl up into a ball and pretend this filth doesn't exist
But no matter how hard I try
Or how many tears I cry
This world still remains
All around
All I see is are kids dying
If not on the outside
Then on the inside
School shootings and car crash's
Suicides and murders
And all we can think are oh I hope they caught the killer
Or this is a tragedy now lets try to get past it
But while everyone tries to get past it
No one stops to think about how to go through it
It's all about you now take care of you
Do good and school and climb the ladder
But the higher you climb the farther you fall
It's all about the money, the fame and the girls
Whatever happened to the value of family first
Family comes before money and fame
And the girls are just fly buys that you rob in your past times
My heart breaks for this world
Because no one ever thinks to stop and hit the breaks
Because they want the first shot at this world going full speed
Why do so many people trade their lives to this world
This world means nothing in the end
It's just a ticking clock
What happens when the time runs out
You gave your soul to the world
You never took the time to listen to that preacher when you were a kid
You were just ready to make the highest bid
So what happens that one day when you stand before Jesus
And you will see him face to face
And unless you turn from your ways your going to see the face
You didn't want to see
As judgement comes you start to panic
And start looking for the rewind button
But all you can do as beg and plead
But you had your chance and you traded it for a tin glance
When the gavel comes down you'll find yourself
In a place of anguish
Absolute pain
Absolute misery
Unless you accept Christ as your savior
You wont find yourself in this world
You will find yourself
In a terrible place
Called Hell
