Forgotten

A darkened room

An abandoned chair.

A worn out clock

A blackened chimney.

A dusty desk.

A tattered diary, all alone.

With pages old and crinkled.

The words faded.

Still telling their tale.

A story long forgotten.

With the passing of time.
