The Seasons

You blew me off like an autumn breeze

Left me alone with dead leaves for my heart

Still as a statue, silent as a grave

I watched and i waited, hoping summer would return

Winter came and buried me under 10 feet of snow

Shivering and alone, with no hope of warmth

I cried and i cried as the leaves rotted away

Abandoned and drained of all hope

Slowly i froze, losing myself to despair

Slowly spring came, the frost starts to thaw

New life begins, but no hope is left for me anymore

Lost to the world, summer returns

I melt to the ground, unable to survive

No longer able to fit in, too many changes made in my absence
