Captured By an Unforeseen Kiss

A failing heart -
Revived and awakened
A covenant to shield,
Vanished upon opportunity
A rescue desired, but withheld
Afraid of being hurt again

A quiescent spirit in tranquil pose
Bordered to escape enemy lines
Now captured by an unforeseen kiss
Forcibly delivering her birth

Sold on a script she has never observed
A character of man- only one fantasized
He offered an entrΓ©e, one never encounters
A taste so rich, one cannot afford

Yet-she was chosen, like fruit upon tree
With a body so ripened- kept well on reserve
Owned by someone she never thought possible
A notion that the two both shared...
