I like to think
I was born with a sense of humor,
maybe not like the Harvard Junior!
But enough to qualify as a zoomer.
They used to call me here at the VA
because of my loudness, I guess, boomer,
I still feel like a ham
but I get serious now because of the jam
I listen to
and the qualities in me that exist too
like a bit of cynicism,
a bit of skepticism
and even a little bit of a sickie in me, too cool.
