Since birth
A world unknown appears
Sounds with smiles or tears
Shapes with colors and form
Moving or still
Discovery in every blink
Sleepless nights of motherly love
Tender touch with soft purrs
Flavors both bitter and sweet
Trace odors, aroma and scent
Confusing as it all seems
It comes together as one large canvas
So new, such wonders to explore
To reach out, to hold, to listen
To capture, to process, to understand
Labels shall come all in due time
To build the walls
To color with shades
Mask what is here
And not see it anymore
