When people try to rile me,
Patient then Lord help me be.
When others treat ne with hate,
Help me show them love kindly.

In life, Lord, help me find joy.
Help me do your will with zeal.  
My love to others help me show,
So that it I can't conceal.

Help me, Lord, have self-control.
In all that I say and do.
Help me think before I act,
And live as you call me to.
