Sleep, sleep, thou dainty flower:
Ill feasts the frost in Springtime,
Sweet petals to devour;
Heed not the zest of sunshine,
Fear not the zigzag rain,
Sleep, sleep, thou dainty flower,
At rest, alone, again.
