A Word
Simply a word...
The world spins.
Thoughts go unspoken, unheard.
Shutdown begins.
Anger fights reason,
ignores love most,
to defend against this treason
and all that was once held so close.
Away, far from the war
confusion spreads as poison.
One must become their own savior.
For between people, no battles are truly won.
The struggle exists within...
The heart and the mind.
Real strength is found far below skin.
Yourself, alone you must find.
