His love beggars belief
Even in the heart of the crowd
Even if the mountains bow down
And even if the seas give way to the ground.

Every leaf of the tree of life
Tells me to reconcile
But as an innocent woman
I assumed I'm picking each leaf as petals
Of a rose,
Of a dying rose
A dying love.
